The Home Assistance Hub (HAH) is a service operated by Torus) on behalf of Cheshire West & Chester Council. All procurement for HAH is undertaken through Torus. In line with best practice our procurement objective is to obtain best value.
Torus operates a fair and open competition by following a transparent and auditable procedure in all its tendering and contracting activity. The aim of this is to provide a wide range of businesses with a variety of commercial opportunities. We endeavour to provide all businesses with the knowledge they need in order to submit quotations or tenders for contracts. We also provide guidance on some key factors that businesses will need to consider in relation to the procurement process:
Torus advertise all tender opportunities through an online electronic sourcing portal called – ‘The Chest’. The Chest allows suppliers to register free of charge and receive automated emails whenever a new opportunity is published. Suppliers can register to receive email updates on opportunities that match their capabilities. It brings a range of benefits for both suppliers and buying organisations, as well as providing a very detailed support service to suppliers in managing the online procurement process.
